During one of our dives from Las Galletas (in the south of Tenerife), we have to fish up a small turtle.

The sea turtle, BOBA or Caretta caretta (Linnaeus, 1758) had great difficulties remaining at the surface.

This turtle was only about twenty centimeters long.

The specialized services of the Cabildo of Tenerife (922 250 002 or 112) came to recover the specimen in order to rehabilitate it (infections in the eyes) and "our" turtle will be released by our friends of the foundation Neotropico in a couple of weeks.
