FFESSM - The French diving school |

The French federation of study and sub-aquatic sports (FFESSM) is the main French diving organization which includes more than 2.200 clubs and some 150.000 members.
Through "Plongée France" which is one of these clubs, CABO canarias functions with the following characteristics: CABO canarias gives you access to following certifications: Try dive, 45 minutes which includes a pool session and a dive in the sea. The Discovery Pack, you discover the marine environment at your own pace. This program enables you to do 3 initiation dives in open water and at shallow depth (up to 6 metres) and so to validate the skills acquired without having to pay an annual licence or to present a medical certificate. Then if you wish to continue your diving education, that could be done with CABO canarias like in any other school affiliated to the FFESSM, where the next step will be the Level 1. Level 1 (Diver CMAS *), which allows you to dive to 20m accompanied by a dive guide. Duration of the course: 4 to 5 days.  FFESSM Nitrox tables Nitrox Diver FFESSM / CMAS: This qualification allows using the most suitable mix to a maximum of 40% oxygen. This course takes place over 1 day and a half (2 dives).
Level 2 (Diver CMAS **), first level of autonomy limited to 20 m, you can also dive to a depth of 40m with a dive guide. Duration of the course: 5 to 6 days. Advanced Nitrox Diver FFESSM / CMAS:to use all kind of Nitrox as well as pure oxygen for decompression. This course takes place over 2 day and a half (4 dives). Level 3 (Diver CMAS ***), level of autonomy limited to 60m depth in France. Duration of the course: 6 to 7 days. Prerequired:hold a RIFAP certification.
These decompression dive certifications are recognized all over the world thanks to the affiliation of the FFESSM with the CMAS (World Confederation of Underwater Activities). |
