PADIThe Professional Association of Diving Instructor (PADI) is the world leader in teaching scuba diving courses. It ensures you a quality training matched by a certification recognized world wide.
PADI diving is called recreational diving because it does not require any decompression stop.

Discover Scuba Diving

While following the initiation program Discover Scuba Diving: accompanied by a dive guide, you discover the pleasures of scuba diving during a swimming pool session followed by a dive in the sea.
This program takes place over half day. No doubt you will love it and it will be the first of a series of beautiful dives. Then you will be able to start your diving education straight away!

PADI Courses teached by CABO CanariasGet trained

  • Scuba Diver, in 2 days, you learn the basics of scuba diving which allow you to dive under supervision within the limits of your training.

  • Open Water Diver, in 4 to 5 days, you acquire skills allowing you to dive safely in all seas of the world, even without supervision if you wish.
     
  • Adventure Diver, in 1 day and a half (3 dives), you improve your experience by diversifying your knowledge in fields like deep diving, digital underwater photography or enriched air diving.
    Each one of these Adventure Dives counts as the first dive of the corresponding Specialty course.

  • Advanced Open Water Diver, in 2 days and a half (5 dives), you go further into your theoretical and practical knowledge in order to perfect your diving education in areas like underwater navigation, deep diving and 3 others dives to choose among the PADI specialties.

  • Rescue Diver, in 4 to 5 days, you learn the skills and various techniques allowing you to intervene efficiently and deal with the emergency situations which can occur during a dive.
    A first aid certification, like the Emergency First Response, is required prior to certification.

  • Master Scuba Diveris the highest recreational diver rating in the PADI program, and denotes superior achievement and proficiency. It is awarded to an Advanced Open Water and Rescue Diver holding 5 specialities and having recorded a minimum of 50 dives.

  • Scuba Review, this program fulfils many functions within the PADI System of diver education. Its primary purpose is to help certified divers update their dive knowledge and skills, especially after a period of diving inactivity.

Become Pro (In association with the PADI RESORT 5*IDC 9655)

  • Become "pro"! Dive Master, in 4 to 5 weeks, you go further into your theoretical and practical knowledge on a professional level. You can supervise diving or snorkelling activities and assist instructors during courses.

  • Emergency First Response Instructor, in 2 days, you revise your techniques of first aid and refine your methods of teaching in order to conduct on your own the Emergency First Response courses to your students.

  • Assistant Instructor, in 4 to 5 days, you learn the methods of teaching and are able to lead theory and confined water sessions.

  • Open Water Scuba Instructor, in 7 to 8 days, you advance your knowledge of the PADI system so as to teach the totality of the courses. This program is validated by a 2 day examination led by PADI Europe.

  • Staff Instructor, in 4 to 5 days, you are able to teach up to Assistant Instructor level and assist Course Directors during Open Water Scuba Instructor development courses.
