It is in 1987 when Philippe discovered scuba diving. Imagine what occurs in the head of a 13 year old kid, at ease like a fish in water, when he uses for the first time a Self Contained Underwater Breathing Apparatus… multiply that by 8 years of diving in federal clubs, add 2 years as diver in the French Army and you are far away from the total! You're still missing 2 seasons as a dive instructor in the Red Sea, and an adventure which started since January 2000 on Tenerife, Canary Islands.

At the age of 26, he becomes then co-owner and co-founder of a dive centre on the East coast of the island, in a small village called Abades. After 7 years at the exclusive service of the public, Philippe reorientates himself in April 2007 and creates the scuba diving services firm CABOcanarias.

This kid became, over the years, CMAS 2* diving instructor - FFESSM , Master Instructor PADI and gifted with experience of thousands of dives, still today, Philippe lives his passion and shares it with all those who like him, from the beginner to the more experienced diver, love scuba diving, the sea and its marine life. Fascinated by the marine realm, Philippe collaborates with the Museum of the Natural Sciences of Tenerife and in the edition of a blog about scuba diving: TENERiFE under water. He is also a member of the Doris project.
